Flo and I find many special findings on the harbour beach including gorgeous tiny shells and sea glass. We wanted to bottle them up to capture their beauty forever. Looking at them on the wall reminds us of magical times at the beach and happy thoughts.
Sea Treasure in Bottles
This St Ives Sea Treasure creation was inspired by a commission we were asked to do. A lovely lady asked if we could collect sea glass from Porthmeor beach, a place that was very close to her heart. We presented our findings in these elegant test-tube style bottles and called our creation Porthmeor Sea treasure. The gorgeous nuggets of sea glass that you can see here have been collected from Porthmeor as well the harbour beach.
