For my daughter Flo and I, searching for lost sea treasure brings us together. It is a joyous activity, full of surprises. There is great excitement to be had from sharing precious findings. Flo always starts singing, lost in her own world and I find myself repeatedly in awe of the beautiful setting whilst caught up in my own thoughts. We’re mutually contented which is often hard to find these days.
One day not so long ago, having spent a good hour combing the beach together before the tide came in, we found ourselves yet again marvelling at the artistry and allure of the tiny fragments of ceramic, pottery and nuggets of seaglass that we had found. Flo and I realised then that we wanted to share our love for St. Ives, our home town, with others in a creative way.
Flowithme was born.
